TLRPAC Endorses Re-Election Of State Rep. John Raney In House District 14

(Houston, TX) – Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC issued the following statement today announcing its endorsement of the re-election of State Representative John Raney in House District 14.

“Rep. Raney is a committed conservative and a respected member of the Texas House. As a businessman, Rep. Raney understands the importance of lawsuit reform in creating jobs and keeping the Texas economy strong.  Rep. Raney is a principled and hardworking legislator and TLRPAC is proud to endorse him.”

Rep. Raney is a sixth generation Texan who was first elected to the Texas House in 2011. During the last legislative session, he served on the House Appropriations Committee and the Sub-Committee on Education. He was also a member of the Higher Education, and House Administration committees.  He has served on the Board of the Texas Association of Retailers and has been a member of the National Federation of Independent Business for almost four decades.

John and his wife Elizabeth currently reside in Bryan where they actively serve in their community and the First United Methodist Church.  They have two daughters and seven grandchildren.

House District 14 is in Brazos County.
